Bitcoin Cash ABC developers announced rebranding and transition to Proof-OF-Stake
The Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) project has announced rebranding and transition to POS -algorithm for achieving a consensus from Avalanche, which will allow users to participate in staining and quickly carry out transactions.
At 12:00 UTC (15:00 Moscow time) the network will change the name to Ecash (XEC). After updating, BCHA holders will be accrued XEC in a ratio of 1: 1,000,000.
Cryptocurrency integrates concepts that “have not previously met in Bitcoin’s base projects”, such as subchans and blockchain updating without fork.
“Ecash opens the doors to previously unattainable capabilities, combining the main technologies underlying the success of bitcoin-a fixed proposal, halving and genesis block-with the latest Proof-Of-Stake consensus and protocol management,” said the leading developer of the Amori Project Seal
In November 2020, a hard fork was held on the Bitcoin Cash network, as a result of which the largest Bitcoin Cash ABC client did not enlist the community. The blockchain was divided into two backs of incompatible chains.
Recall that in the same month, a group of anonymous miners attacked 51% on the Bitcoin Cash ABC network.
